OBS Overlay

RaidQ provides a transparent overlay for OBS (or any scene compositor) that shows the current deck and queue in real time.

Copy your overlay URLs from the Overlays page (/streamer/overlays, the Overlays tile on the Streamer Dashboard). Use them exactly as copied — they may carry a t= access token on the end.

Setup

  1. In OBS, add a Browser Source
  2. Set the URL to your Raid Group overlay link. It looks like: https://raidq.pogo.tips/overlay?channel=<YOUR_CHANNEL_ID>
  3. Set Width and Height to match your canvas (e.g. 1920 × 1080)
  4. Check Transparent background (or set a chroma key if your compositor requires it)
  5. Click OK

The overlay is transparent — it renders text directly over your video feed.

First load: After adding the source, do one manual OBS refresh (right-click the source → Refresh). Subsequent updates are automatic.

Auto-Refresh

The overlay polls for changes every few seconds while your channel is active (the exact rate depends on your plan, see Plans & Pricing). After 15 minutes with no chat command or /que tap it slows to once a minute, and after 30 minutes to once every 5 minutes; the next command or tap speeds it back up. While OBS reports that you are streaming, the overlay keeps its normal active refresh rate even when chat has been quiet; the slow-down applies when OBS isn't streaming, or when the overlay is open in a plain browser. That's why an overlay left open overnight can take a moment to catch up when you start. When RaidQ ships an update, the overlay detects it and reloads itself — no action needed, even if the update lands in the moment right between the page loading and its first poll. The overlay never reloads on a timer; if updates stall for about 11 minutes (for example a network drop), it restarts its updating on its own and keeps showing the last good queue meanwhile.

Style

  • Names in Exo 2 font, 17 px
  • Section labels in white; RAID GROUP is underlined
  • Tier color-coded: T1 = green, T2 = blue, T3 = purple, T4 = gold
  • Muted position numbers
  • Layered text-shadow (outline + 10 px glow) for readability on any background
  • Colors can be changed on the Overlays page, see Overlay colors

Wide layout

/overlay/wide is a second Raid Group overlay URL for a wider spot on your scene. It stacks like the vertical overlay: the mode line, then RAID GROUP (BATTLER in PvP), then QUEUE. Inside each section the names sit in two columns, filled across rows (1 2, 3 4, 5 6); an odd count leaves the last right cell empty. The two columns are sized once, when the overlay loads, to fit a typical 15-character name plus the slot number and badge, side by side with a small gap, so they stay put whatever names are shown. A name of 15 characters or fewer that is still too wide for its column shrinks a little to fit; it is never cut. Every name up to 15 characters shows whole; a longer name shows its first 14 characters plus "…". It uses the same data, refresh, mode label, CLOSED state and tier colors as the vertical overlay, and is sized for a 720 px wide Browser Source. Copy its URL from the Overlays page, labelled Raid Group overlay (wide).

OBS note

Each queue overlay you add polls RaidQ on its own. If you add both the vertical and the wide overlay, tick Shutdown source when not visible on each Browser Source, or keep one queue overlay per scene collection.

Mode Label

The current queue mode is shown in a small line just above RAID GROUP, indented slightly so it sits under the heading:

Mode Label Color
Everyone FREE White
Supporter Only SUPPORTER Gold
Supporter Priority PRIORITY Purple
PvP PVP Blue
RSVP RSVP Teal

When the queue is closed (the same state where !here replies that the queue is closed), the line adds · CLOSED and turns red, for example SUPPORTER · CLOSED. It goes back to its normal color when the queue reopens. Closing registration (!join) does not change it.

In PvP mode the RAID GROUP heading reads BATTLER instead, on the overlay. The /que page has no such heading; it shows just the group count box beside its button row in every mode. Every other mode keeps RAID GROUP.

Channel Parameter

The channel query parameter must be the exact channel ID for your channel — the same value used on the /que page. If the overlay is blank, double-check this value first (see Troubleshooting).

Supporter badge

A small picture can show beside a viewer's name on the Raid Group and queue overlays. It shows for 72 hours from the last time that viewer joined the queue as a paying chat member (a subscriber or member), or as a moderator or the channel owner, and it also shows on the overlays of channels paired with yours.

  • Upload it on the Overlays page (/streamer/overlays#badge). Choose a PNG, JPEG or WEBP image of up to 5 MB and frame the square. RaidQ resizes it to 128 by 128 pixels in your browser (smaller if the picture is still over 128 KB) and saves it as a PNG. Badges you uploaded earlier, up to 256 by 256, keep showing as they are.
  • Plan. A Legendary or Mythical plan feature (see Plans & Pricing).
  • Paired channels. When a supporter joins by their PoGo name in a channel paired with another, the other channel's badge shows beside their name too, if they were seen paying there in the last 72 hours.
  • Remove it with the Remove button; tap it twice. After saving or removing, refresh the browser source in OBS.

Boss Overlay (a second, separate source)

RaidQ also has a small overlay that shows just the current raid boss — its picture, catch CP, and any weather boost. It's a different URL from the queue overlay above, so add it as its own Browser Source in OBS.

  1. Add another Browser Source in OBS
  2. Set the URL to your Boss overlay link. It looks like: https://raidq.pogo.tips/overlay/boss?channel=<YOUR_CHANNEL_ID>
  3. Keep it small — the card is compact, around 320px wide
  4. Check Transparent background, same as the queue overlay
  5. Optional: add &img=<size> to the URL (64-200) to resize the boss picture/aura box — default is 144px
  6. Optional: add &tint=<0-100> to the URL to control how strong the Dynamax crimson wash is (see Max Boss below) — default is 25
  7. Optional: add &glow=<0-40> to the URL to control the max-boss glow radius in pixels (see Max Boss below) — default is 18

What it shows:

  • The boss's picture and catch CP (normal and boosted, e.g. 1234/1543), plus a weather emoji when a boost is active
  • If a boss's picture is replaced, the next !set of that boss shows the new picture on every overlay without a refresh
  • A glowing purple outline around Shadow bosses
  • The boss's own type icons at the bottom-right corner of its picture, and a WEAK TO line under the CP: type icons as tall as one CP row, the double-weakness types (2.56x) first with a 2x tag, then the 1.6x types. The first four always show; more appear only while they fit the card's width, and the rest become +N. Shadow, Dynamax and Gigantamax bosses use their base types. A custom or unrecognized boss name shows neither. The type icons are never tinted or glowed
  • Costume and event names such as !set astronaut pikachu show the base species' picture, CP and WEAK TO, with the full name you typed ("Astronaut Pikachu")
  • For Shadow bosses only, a second line below the catch CP: the minimum catch CP at 13/13/13 IVs needed to guarantee a 15/15/15 (hundo) after purifying, with purified and four-star icons next to it
  • For Mega and Primal bosses, the picture and CP shown are for the base species, not the Mega/Primal form — that matches what you'll actually catch
  • Same for Crowned Sword/Shield Zacian/Zamazenta, Necrozma's Dusk Mane/Dawn Wings, and Black/White Kyurem — the CP shown is for the catchable form, not the raid boss's own (higher) stats
  • Long names are shortened the same way as the boss picker on /que (Shadow → S., Mega → M., and so on; Dynamax/Gigantamax bosses read DMax …/GMax …)
  • If no boss is set, or the picture hasn't loaded yet, the overlay shows nothing at all — never a broken image or placeholder box

It polls at the same rate as the queue overlay (including the idle slow-down described under Auto-Refresh above) and reloads on its own when RaidQ ships an update. While OBS reports that you are streaming, the boss overlay also keeps its normal active refresh rate even when chat has been quiet; the slow-down applies when OBS isn't streaming, or when it is open in a plain browser. If the channel has gone 2 hours with no chat command or /que tap, the boss card blanks and shows nothing until a new boss is set.

Max Boss (Dynamax / Gigantamax)

  • !set dmax <species> renders the sprite with a crimson wash (strength set by &tint=, default 25) and a soft red glow around it
  • !set gmax <species> renders the sprite untouched, with the same red glow — no wash
  • The CP line for a Max boss shows only the L20 catch CP (no /cp25, no weather glyph — Max raids have no weather boost mechanic)
  • &tint=0 turns the wash off entirely (glow stays); &tint=100 is the strongest wash
  • &glow=<0-40> controls the glow radius in pixels — default is 18; &glow=0 removes the glow entirely
