Chat Commands

Important: Permission Model

Permissions come from your Nightbot command settings. RaidQ answers whatever Nightbot sends it, so a mod-only command left at Everyone in Nightbot can be run by any viewer. The only exceptions are !health and !here @user: RaidQ itself replies "Mods only." to anyone who isn't a moderator or the streamer, whatever the Nightbot setting. Set the commands in the Mod / Streamer table to Moderator (or higher) userlevel in the Nightbot dashboard. The "Recommended Userlevel" column is the setting to use in Nightbot.

All commands return a response 195 characters or fewer.

A quick word list used below: queue = the list of people waiting for a raid. Raid group = the small batch of people just picked to actually go raid, pulled from the queue by !next.

Viewer Commands

Command Syntax Recommended Userlevel What it does
!reg !reg PoGoName Everyone Links your chat account to your Pokémon Go trainer name. Use your in game name, not your friend code: a 12 digit friend code is refused. If you're already registered, it points you to !fc. If you only have a snipe on record from before you registered, !reg keeps that credit. If you changed your YouTube channel name, a YouTube rename keeps your registration and raid history, so you do not need to !reg again. Trainer names are capped at 15 characters; longer ones are refused with Name too long, max 15 characters. Won't work if registration is closed (!stop reg).
!reg (correction) !reg ? PoGoName Everyone Changes your trainer name if you're already registered.
!here !here Everyone Joins the queue. You must be registered first: if you aren't, the reply tells you to type !reg followed by your Pokémon Go in game name and shows an example name. Won't work if the queue is closed, you're blocked, or it's a Supporter Only (supporters-only) raid and you're not a supporter/Hall Pass holder — anyone chat reports as a subscriber or channel member gets in here too, and skips Supporter Only restrictions the same way mods do. Supporters get a ⭐ in the reply. If no boss has been picked yet, you still get queued — you'll be added to whichever boss the streamer sets next. The reply always ends with how many raids you've done recently, e.g. 3 raids/7 days (the window for that count is set with !set days, see below). Once your streak reaches 2, it also shows the streak with an emoji that upgrades as it grows: 🔥 2-6, ⚡ 7-13, 💎 14-20, 🏆 21-27, 👑 28-34, 🚀 35-49, 🌟 50-99, 🐉 100+. A 🎉 celebration line appears the first time your streak crosses 5, 10, or 25.
!here mem !here mem Everyone Lets a non-supporter join a Supporter Only raid anyway. Shows a FREE tag on the /que page. You'll stay in the queue but won't be picked for the raid group until you're given a Hall Pass, or the streamer switches out of Supporter Only mode.
!que !que Everyone Shows the top 10 people in the queue. If you're not in the top 10, it tells you your position instead.
!add / !join !join / !add / !join @name Everyone Shows how to join; !join @name addresses the reply to that viewer instead of you. Says "‼️ Not accepting new friends right now. Usually this is for a short time, please check back in a few minutes. 🫶" if registration is closed.
!fc !fc Everyone Shows the streamer's friend code, if one is on file and registration is open.
!who !who Everyone Shows your own registered trainer name, tier, streak, and recent raid count. Only works on yourself — no target name.
!snipe !snipe Everyone Marks you as having completed a raid — counts toward your streak and raid count, same as if you'd been called up and finished one — without waiting in line. The reply shows the same streak/raid-count flair as !here; if the whole reply would be too long for chat, the boss name is shortened first (for example S. Landorus-Ther) so the streak and raid count are never cut off. The !set snipe reply works the same way. 60-second cooldown per person. The snipe is credited to the boss that's up, or the boss cleared within the last 6 hours (exactly 6 hours still counts), and the reply names it: Sniped Kyogre!. With no raid in the last 6 hours you get No raid in the last 6 hours, no boss to credit this snipe to., nothing is recorded and the cooldown is not used. You must be registered with !reg first, otherwise you get the same register instruction as !here and nothing is recorded. A Legendary plan feature; plan limits aren't switched on yet, so it works on every channel today (see Plans & Pricing).
!snipe (undo) !snipe undo Everyone Cancels your own most recent !snipe, as long as it was within the last 30 minutes.
!skip !skip Everyone Removes you from the queue.
!forgetme !forgetme PoGoName Everyone Starts deleting your account. You have 5 minutes to confirm with !forgetme yes. Use the name exactly as saved (check with !who).
!gift !gift Everyone Posts a shoutout asking the streamer, by name, to send you a gift — uses your registered PoGo trainer name.
!topraider / !topraiders !topraider Everyone Shows the raid leaderboard, most raids first, over the current calendar month in Eastern time, with the header naming the month (e.g. "Top raiders (Sep):"). Says so if nobody's raided in that window. Once plan limits are switched on, Starter channels get the last 7 days instead (header "last 7d") — see Plans & Pricing.
!history !history Everyone Shows your own raid count per day (Eastern time) plus the total, over the last 30 days. The reply names the number of days. Days with zero raids aren't shown. Once plan limits are switched on, Starter channels get 7 days instead — see Plans & Pricing.

Mod / Streamer Commands

Set all of these to Moderator userlevel in Nightbot.

Command Syntax Recommended Userlevel What it does
!set !set BossName Moderator Picks the active raid boss. Clears out everyone waiting for (or already picked for) the boss you're switching away from — they don't carry over to the new boss. Anyone who was already picked for a raid group gets credited for it first, same as !done/!clear — their streak and raid count still count it, even though you switched bosses instead of running !done. Short names can be set up to work too (e.g. !set g → Groudon; ask an admin). Anyone who used !here before any boss was picked gets added automatically once you do pick one. If a boss has more than one forme, add the forme word to pick it (!set origin dialga or !set dialga origin); a bare name picks the forme in the current rotation, else the base forme.
!set (mega/primal shorthand) !set mgengar / !set megagengar / !set m gengar Moderator Shortcuts for mega and primal raid bosses — all three set the boss exactly like typing !set mega gengar in full. For a primal boss (Groudon, Kyogre), the same m/mega shorthand resolves to the primal form (!set mgroudon → Primal Groudon) since there's no separate mega form of that species to confuse it with. If the mega has two forms (Charizard, Mewtwo, Raichu), you'll need to say which one — and every way of typing it works: !set mcharizardx, !set mcharizard x, !set m charizard x, !set megacharizard x and !set mega charizard x all set Mega Charizard X. Typing just !set mcharizard with no X/Y lists both options in the reply instead of guessing — nothing changes until you pick one. This covers megas that only live in the live data feed, not just the bot's built-in list — !set mraichu x / !set mega raichu x / !set mega starmie and similar all resolve correctly now, artwork included.
!set (Dynamax/Gigantamax) !set dmax charizard / !set gmax charizard Moderator Sets a Dynamax or Gigantamax boss instead of a regular raid — dmax/dynamax and gmax/gigantamax both work, and the word can go before or after the species name (!set gmax charizard or !set charizard gmax). These don't have weather boost, so the overlay only shows one CP number instead of the usual two, and the name is shown as DMax …/GMax …. Can't be combined with a mega/primal/shadow boss in the same !set — you'll get an error instead of a boss being picked.
!set (custom boss image) !set Astronaut Pikachu Moderator Picks one of the streamer's own uploaded boss pictures, by the name it was saved under (any capitals, any spacing), and the overlay shows that name and picture. Checked before the usual boss matching, so it wins over a similar real boss name, and it can't be combined with dmax/gmax or mega/primal/shadow. keep works with it. Needs a Legendary or Mythical plan, see Streamer Dashboard.
!set (keep queue) !set keep BossName / !set BossName keep Moderator Switches boss like !set but keeps everyone who's waiting in the queue — they carry over to the new boss in the same order. Anyone already picked for a raid group is still credited and cleared, same as a normal !set. Same as the Keep Q button on the /que change-boss dialog. Works with dmax/gmax too (!set keep gmax charizard, !set charizard gmax keep). keep must be the first or last word. The reply ends with how many were kept, e.g. Active boss: Kyogre (3 kept in queue).
!set (misspelled names) !set armorded mewtwo Moderator Small typos in a boss name are corrected automatically and the boss switches right away — the reply says Corrected to Armored Mewtwo. Active boss: Armored Mewtwo so you can tell it happened. Very short names, and typos that don't clearly point to one specific boss, are left alone rather than guessed at. If your typo is genuinely equidistant between two different real bosses, you'll get a "Did you mean X, Y?" reply instead of a guess — nothing is set until you retype it. Switching over an active raid still credits the people on deck, exactly as an exactly-typed !set does.
!set (bare name upgrade) !set landorus / !set normal landorus Moderator When the only current raid for that species is a Shadow, Mega or Primal version, a plain name picks it: !set landorus while Shadow Landorus is the only Landorus replies Active boss: Shadow Landorus (Incarnate Forme) and sets it with its picture. If the regular boss is also up, or more than one version is, you get the regular boss. Put normal or regular anywhere in the name (!set normal landorus, !set landorus normal therian) to force the regular boss. Typing shadow, mega, primal, dmax or gmax yourself, or a different forme, always sets exactly what you typed. The boss picker on /que does the same.
!set (clear) !set clear / !set none / !set off / !set unset (each also works with a leading boss, e.g. !set boss clear) Moderator Turns off the active boss entirely. Also clears everyone who was in its queue or raid group — anyone already picked for a raid group gets credited for it first, same as !clear. The on-screen overlay disappears until a new boss is picked. Reversible with !undo / the /que Undo button, same as !clear: the boss and raid group come back and the raid credit is taken back.
!set (mode) !set supporter / !set free / !set priority / !set pri / !set rsvp / !set pvp Moderator Switches queue mode and sets the raid group size (10 / 10 / 10 / 5 / 1 for Everyone / Supporter Only / Supporter Priority / RSVP / PvP); anyone over the new size goes back to the front of the queue. See Queue Modes. Same switch is available as a button in the top bar of the /que page (opens a list of all five). While PvP is on, nothing earns raid credit or streaks and !snipe is off.
!set (name + FC) !set name DisplayName [FriendCode] Moderator Sets the example name shown in !add/!reg messages. Can also save a 12-digit friend code (spaces optional).
!here (mod, for another user) !here @name Mod-only (enforced by RaidQ) Adds another viewer to the queue on their behalf. The same registration/closed-queue/Supporter Only checks apply to them, not you. If the target hasn't registered, you get the register instruction addressed to them and nothing is added.
!set days !set days 1-365 Moderator Changes the time window (default 7 days) used for the recent-raid-count shown in !here/!who.
!set snipe !set snipe @user Moderator Marks another user as having completed a raid, same effect as their own !snipe (same boss credit rule: the boss that's up, or the one cleared within the last 6 hours), showing the target's own streak/raid-count flair in the reply, e.g. Sniped Kyogre for bob!. With no raid in the last 6 hours it replies No raid in the last 6 hours, no boss to credit this snipe to. and records nothing. No cooldown. The target must be registered, otherwise the reply is <name> isn't registered yet. and nothing is recorded. A Legendary plan feature; plan limits aren't switched on yet, so it works on every channel today.
!set unsnipe !set unsnipe @user Moderator Cancels that user's most recent snipe (whether they used it themselves or you granted it), within 30 minutes. A Legendary plan feature; works on every channel today, same as !set snipe.
!whoami !whoami @name OR !whoami PoGoName Moderator Looks up any user by their chat or PoGo name. Shows their tier and whether they're blocked. With no name it looks up yourself, same as !who. A different Nightbot command from !who above — set this one to Moderator, since anyone who can use it can look up any other viewer.
!health !health Mod-only (enforced by RaidQ) Quick system status check. Handy when something feels broken and you're not sure why.
!next !next / !fill Moderator Picks more people from the queue to fill the raid group up to your group size, without removing anyone already picked. The people it adds are ordered T4 → T3 → T2 → T1 → free, then A–Z by trainer name, behind anyone already in the group; the order is set when they're added, so a later tier change doesn't move them. Gives no raid credit. Posts to Discord if that's set up. Uses up a Hall Pass for anyone picked who was holding a one-time pass. Also works before any boss is picked — it pulls from the viewers who joined early and are being held for the next boss. !fill is the same command under the name of the FILL button on the /que page; add it in Nightbot the same way if you want it.
!deck !deck Moderator Shows who's currently picked for the raid group, in the same order as /que and the overlay.
!done !done Moderator Clears the current raid group (marks the raid as finished) and leaves the boss set. Tells you how many are still waiting in the queue and lists who's up next. Can be reversed with !undo in chat or the Undo button on /que, which also takes back the raid credit it just gave.
!clear !clear Moderator Clears everyone — both waiting and picked — for the active boss, and also turns off the active boss (same as the /que Clear Boss button). Anyone already picked gets credited for it first, same as !done — unless no boss was actually active, in which case there's nothing to credit. If no boss was active, the reply says so (Cleared queue and raid group. No active boss.). Reversible with !undo / the /que Undo button, which restores the boss and raid group and takes back the raid credit.
!undo !undo Moderator Reverses the last !done, !next (or !fill), !clear, !set clear, !set to a new boss over a loaded raid group (with or without keep), !drop or !skip — restores the previous raid group, queue order and boss exactly, and takes back that raid's credit (streak, raid count, !history/!topraider//reports, the streamer's own included; a hand-set streak and any later !snipe are kept). One level deep with no time limit, shared with the /que Undo button: it always undoes the most recent change, and either one can undo what the other just did. Replies Undo successful — raid group, queue and credit restored. when credit was taken back, and says Nothing to undo. on an empty stack.
!start !start / !start que / !start reg Moderator Opens both, or the queue / registration. queue works as well as que.
!stop !stop / !stop que / !stop reg Moderator Closes both, or the queue / registration. queue works as well as que.
!size !size Moderator Returns the current group size.
!size (set) !size N (1–20) Moderator Sets the group size.
!size priority !size priority Moderator Enables tiered queue pulls.
!size nopriority !size nopriority Moderator Disables tiered queue pulls (pure First-In, First-Out [FIFO]).
!tier !tier @name OR !tier PoGoName Moderator Returns a user's current tier. Lookup by either PoGo or chat name. A viewer who has not registered yet gets <name> isn't registered yet. and nothing is changed.
!tier (set) !tier @name / PoGoName free\|tier1\|tier2\|tier3\|tier4\|t1\|t2\|t3\|t4 Moderator Sets a user's tier.
!tier (hall pass) !tier @name / PoGoName hp or !tier @name / PoGoName hallpass Moderator Grants a one-time Hall Pass (lasts until they're picked for a raid group). Only for free-tier viewers — a supporter already has access, and the reply says so.
!tier (timed HP) !tier @name / PoGoName hp 1h / !tier @name / PoGoName hp 3d Moderator Grants a timed Hall Pass. Any number of hours (h, hr or hrs) or days (d) works, from 1 minute up to 30 days — 1h and 3d are just examples.
!drop !drop @name / PoGoName Moderator Removes a named user, whether they're waiting or already picked.
!skip (mod) !skip @name / PoGoName Moderator Same as !drop — removes a named user, waiting or picked. Warning: RaidQ doesn't check who's allowed to run this — you must set it to Moderator in Nightbot yourself.
!block !block @name / PoGoName Moderator Blocks a user from the queue (removes them immediately).
!block mem !block mem @name / PoGoName Moderator Revokes a user's !here mem access per-user.
!unblock !unblock @name / PoGoName Moderator Unblocks a previously blocked user.
!unblock mem !unblock mem @name / PoGoName Moderator Restores a user's !here mem access after a !block mem.
!setpogo !setpogo ChatName PoGoName Moderator Registers or updates a trainer name for any user. The first word is the viewer's chat name; everything after it is the trainer name to save (15 characters max). On a channel paired for shared tiers, this is also the fix when a viewer registers a trainer name that borrows another player's tier: set the right name for that viewer.
!forgetyou !forgetyou @name or !forgetyou PoGoName Moderator Immediately hard-deletes any user's account and queue entries. No confirmation step. Must be Moderator in Nightbot.

How streaks work

Your streak is how many raid sessions in a row you have raided in.

What counts as a raid

You get credit when all of these are true:

  • You are registered (!reg).
  • A raid boss is set.
  • You are on deck when the raid is finished. Waiting in the queue does not count yet.

Joining with !here does not count by itself. A boss being set does not count by itself. Credit comes when a mod finishes the raid.

The one exception is !snipe, which gives credit without being on deck. See the !snipe entry on this page.

What is a session

A session is one stretch of raiding, usually one stream.

A new session starts when a raid is finished more than 6 hours after the last finished raid.

  • Two streams with 6 hours or less between raids count as one session.
  • A break of more than 6 hours with no finished raid, even in the middle of a long stream, starts a new session.

How your streak moves

What you did What happens
Your first raid Streak starts at 1
Raided in the next session after your last one Streak goes up by 1
Raided more than once in the same session No change. A session only counts once
Missed a whole session Streak is over. Your next raid starts a new one at 1

For mods

The deck gets credit when you finish a raid any of these ways:

  • !done or !clear
  • Setting the next boss while people are on deck
  • DONE, NEXT/GO, CLEAR or CLEAR BOSS on the /que page

If the queue sits untouched for 2 hours it resets on its own, and whoever was on deck still gets credit.

Nothing counts toward streaks while PvP mode is on.

Notes

  • Setting up !who and !whoami in Nightbot: these are two separate custom commands (different names, different userlevels), but both point at the same URL with cmd=whoami (see Getting Started) — who on its own isn't a valid value there.
  • All replies start with @YourName and get cut off at 195 characters (except !topraider and !gift's own shoutout line, which skip the @ mention — !gift's not-registered error still gets one).
  • Some /que controls have no chat command: GO, NEXT/GO and RAIDING work from the page only.
  • Typing a command that doesn't exist gets you "Bad cmd" back.
  • During rare maintenance windows, commands that change data (joining, setting a boss, etc.) may be temporarily disabled with a "try again in a few minutes" reply.
  • If something breaks while handling a command, the reply is Something went wrong, try again in a moment. — nothing was lost, run the command again.
  • Accounts inactive for 12 months whose tier is free (a membership/subscription from the streamer's list or a mod-set tier normally gives a tier above free) and who are not on the streamer's membership list are removed automatically with the same treatment as !forgetme (profile deleted, raid history kept under a random token). Any command you run in chat (for example !here) counts as activity for an existing account, but commands that get "Bad cmd" or a rate-limit reply do not. Use !forgetme to remove your data at any time (see Privacy).
