RaidQ

RaidQ runs the raid queue for Pokémon GO streamers on Twitch and YouTube. Viewers register and join from chat, you or your mods pick each raid group with one command or one tap, and the queue shows on stream, so you don't have to read names out of chat.

Who it's for

  • Streamers who raid with their viewers and want one clear line instead of a scramble in chat.
  • Mods, who can run the whole session from a phone.
  • Viewers, who register once and then join with a single command.

How a session works

  1. You (or a mod) type !start to open registration and the queue, and !set BossName to pick the raid boss.
  2. Viewers type !reg TrainerName once to register, then !here to join the queue.
  3. !next pulls the next group from the queue into the raid group.
  4. When the raid is over, !done clears the raid group, and the next !next pulls the following group.

Made a mistake? !undo reverses the last !next, !done, !clear or boss switch.

What it does on stream

  • Chat commands. RaidQ's commands are Nightbot custom commands, so they work in both Twitch and YouTube chat. Viewers can check their place with !que, and regulars' !here replies show a streak emoji that grows the more sessions in a row they raid with you.
  • The /que page. A live queue manager for you and your mods on a phone, tablet or desktop: who is in the raid group, who is up next and who is waiting, with a button for every queue action. The GO button copies the raid group's names and opens Pokémon GO, and you can add the page to your home screen like an app.
  • OBS overlays. Browser sources that show the raid group and the queue in real time, in a vertical or a wide layout, plus a separate boss card with the boss's picture, catch CP and weather boost.
  • Queue modes. Let everyone in, pick supporters first, keep a raid for supporters only, run an RSVP raid for people who signed up ahead of time, or switch to PvP battles.
  • Supporters. Upload your YouTube membership or Twitch subscriber export, and the viewers on it who have registered get their supporter level on your channel. RaidQ doesn't pull membership from YouTube or Twitch itself.
  • Custom boss images. Give an event boss or costume your own picture and name, then pick it with !set like any other boss. See Custom boss images.
  • Supporter badge. A small picture of your choosing shows beside paying members' names on the queue overlays. See Supporter badge.
  • Editable chat replies. Change the wording of RaidQ's !reg replies in your chat, with a live preview before you save. See Chat Replies.
  • Reports. Charts of your raids over time: raids per period, unique and new raiders, top raiders, queue size and more.

See Plans & Pricing for what each plan includes.

Where to start

  • Streamers: you need a Nightbot account connected to your channel. Sign in at /streamer with Twitch or Google, and a short setup wizard links your channel. If the streamer spots are full, you're waitlisted and an admin admits new streamers by hand as spots open. Getting Started walks through it, including which Nightbot commands to add.
  • Mods: The /que Page covers every button and gesture, and Chat Commands lists the mod commands.
  • Viewers: type !reg followed by your Pokémon GO trainer name, then !here while the queue is open. The viewer commands list has the rest.
